When animals get glucose, it goes to their mitochondria. The oxygen we breath in goes into the lungs. Then it goes in the heart, and the blood carries it to all the cells. Here, the mitochondria uses the oxygen and the glucose to make energy for the cell to use, water, and CO2, which goes through the blood, back to the heart, and out of the body from the lungs.
